Precious is a petite little cat. She is a beautiful combination of tabby and calico. Although she is young and very small she recently had kittens and is perhaps a little thin from that experience, but will most likely fill out with time. Precious really enjoys the company of other cats. She does not like dogs and can get aggressive towards them. She is very friendly and likes to be around her humans, but is not so much a lap cat as a “hang around/lay on the back of your chair” cat. She is a talkative girl and will usually answer you when you talk to her. Adoption fee: $100.00. She is spayed, microchipped & vaccinated. BUTTER, CRUMPET, PEPPA & TOAST

Hello, we are Butter and Toast, Peppa and Crumpet! We’re a happy blended family of guinea pigs (piggies). Butter and Toast (seen on the right and left) are 1-year-old brothers. They used to share a room, but started fighting as teenagers. In the middle are sweethearts Peppa (hairless female) and Crumpet (neutered male). These two were abandoned and taken in by Butter and Toast’s original owner, who then had to move out of state suddenly, which is how they all came to SVFA. The piggies are happiest munching a shared bunch of grass or dandelions, as evidenced by squeals of joy, squeaking, and chuttering. The boys also “rumble” to flirt with the female. After dark they all sleep and are quiet as a mouse. Guinea pigs are herd animals that thrive as a group, are quite easy to handle, and the sounds they make are part of their charm. Their needs include: unlimited amounts of timothy hay for healthy teeth and digestion, daily vitamin C to prevent scurvy (fortified pellets, leafy greens, fresh vegetables), sufficient space (their current enclosure is 27 square feet), and frequent cage cleaning. The $100 adoption fee includes all enclosure materials (grid panels, connectors, plastic mats), water bottles, hidey tubes, etc.

Blue is a 5 year old male German Shepherd/Lab mix. He is good with kids, cats & other dogs. Blue is housetrained, doesn’t like kennels, a prong collar works best for him, neutered and he is current on vaccinations. Dog is located in Minot, ND. Owner is willing to travel. Ghost is an 18 month old male Pit Bull/Husky mix. He is not neutered. He is laid back, but gets excited when he gets to play or take a ride in the car! Ghost is very friendly! He likes dogs and cats, but some cats don’t like him. He isn’t food protective. Ghost is crate and house trained. He will need his vaccinations. Overall, Ghost is a very good and sweet dog!
