Brodie is a loving companion, still full of German Shorthair Pointer energy. He’s approximately 1 ½ years old. He is very food driven. He does like to rough house with other dogs, especially young pups. He will sleep all night or day in bed with you and does fantastic. Brodie does not like being in a kennel and will bark/cry and pee himself. He has not chewed up anything unless it’s a toy or food. He is a counter surfer so your food will need to be up high and so will the garbage can. Brodie knows how to sit, stay, wait, loves to play fetch and go for car rides. He is e-collar trained and is on the pet safe e-fence system and does very well even with 4 different neighbor dogs, he does not leave the yard perimeter. He is house broken to an extent, he will have accidents or times where he dribbles, from a little to a lot. Brodie does not like to have his nails clipped, but will tolerate shower/baths pretty well. He does well in the house with the two other dogs in residence, but not sure how he would do alone. All food must be up and out of reach or Brodie will be eating it! Chips, bread, big juice bottles, pop cans, fruits/vegetables and the garbage can….nothing is off limits for Brodie when it comes to food. Brodie is neutered and microchipped.
